2024 brings a new 1/2 day Beach Excursion to Pensacola Beach.
One of our newest activities and one you don’t want to miss is our half day fintastic excursion. This tour has it all, it’s a dolphin cruise with all the extras! It takes you on a boat ride where you can spot dolphins, turtles, rays and birds in their natural habitat, a snorkeling stop and a secluded beach stop.
On your boat ride to and from both activities, your knowledgeable local captain will keep you entertained with music while giving you information on the habits and behaviors of these fascinating creatures along with a lot of fun “fin” facts. And for you history buffs, they will provide accurate and interesting historical facts of the area as well.
Your first stop will be to snorkel at the artificial reef. The artificial reef has been created to promote marine life and is home to a variety of fish, crabs, and other sea creatures. You can view the Phase One Completion of the Florida Artificial Reef Creation and Restoration Project reef construction in Northwest Florida as well as download the FWC’s artificial reef map.
Snorkeling in this area can give you an up-close view of these creatures and the beautiful marine plant life that has formed around the reef. Your Captain will provide instruction at this stop. You can begin your journey here.
If you are interested in shelling, just wait until you go to the secluded beach stop where you can collect shells, swim or enjoy the sun and surf. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced collector, there are plenty of shells to be found. Take a picnic lunch, this is a great place to stop.
