When do the Blue Angels practice?
During air show season, the Blue Angels practice on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays. The jets typically take flight at 10:30am for approximately 50 minutes. Our tour times are perfectly synced to catch the entire show!
Will we see dolphins on the Blue Angels tour?
While we can’t guarantee dolphin sightings (they’re wild and free in their natural habitat!), we have a very high success rate. Our captains know all the best spots, and dolphins often get extra playful when the jets roar overhead. You’ll learn tons about these amazing creatures either way!
Important: Dolphins are federally protected, so there’s no swimming with dolphins on our tours – we watch and admire from a respectful distance.
What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?
Florida weather can be a handful, but don’t fret! Our seasoned Frisky Mermaid Captain & Crew make all weather decisions based on safe water conditions. If Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate, you can be rescheduled or refunded – no problem!
Is there shade and seating on the boat?
Shell yeah! We’ve got both indoor and outdoor seating so you can catch the action in comfort.
What about safety equipment?
Safety always comes first on the Frisky Mermaid! We’re a USCG Certified Captain & Crew with life jackets in all sizes (infant and up) plus all required safety equipment onboard.
Where do we park for the Blue Angels dolphin cruise?
Free public parking is available across the street from Shaggy’s. You’ll get a detailed confirmation email with all the instructions after booking.
⚠️ DO NOT park at Shaggy’s – you will be towed! (We’d rather see you make waves than parking waves.)
